About our Warehouse Associates:
Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for unloading and storing semi-loads of our furniture within our distribution facilities. Using a state-of-the-art computerized inventory system to accurately receive product, they play an integral role in inventory accuracy. Our Warehouse Associates also pull and load product that will be sent to our local delivery markets.
Our Warehouse Associates have a strong respect for the care and integrity of our furniture.
Our most successful Warehouse Associates have a broad understanding of how their role impacts inventory, our delivery centers and ultimately Room & Board's customers.
Our Warehouse Associates’ strengths include:
While this is a physical role, it takes as much finesse as stamina to be effective. To successfully perform this role, Warehouse Associates must be able to load/lift/carry heavy items (up to 100 pounds or more) while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. At times, loading/lifting/carrying up to 300+ pounds with a warehouse partner is required.
Our Warehouse Associates work a Monday - Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.
