About our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates:

 

Our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates work within our Delivery Centers to pull, inspect, assemble and prepare furniture for the delivery team. They are responsible for ensuring Room & Board customers receive furniture, representative of the high-quality products they saw in our showroom or online. 

 

Our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates enjoy working with their hands and using a variety of small power tools to prepare and assemble the furniture.

 

While many of our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates come to us with an interest in home furnishings, others do not, yet quickly find they enjoy working with beautiful, handcrafted furniture.

 

Our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates’ strengths include:

  • Building strong relationships with their delivery partners to ensure customer satisfaction.  
  • Being self-driven and focused throughout the day.  
  • Paying attention to fine details while working with solid wood and other natural materials.
  • Problem solving in a variety of situations.
  • Working productively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Position requirements:

  • This is a physically-demanding role.  Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates must be able to repeatedly lift 75-100 pounds independently throughout their day.
  • Pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical and physical abilities test.  
  • Must practice safe working habits.   

We offer:

  • Our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates works a Monday through Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm schedule.  Some Saturdays may be required.  

Hours:

  • A strong hourly wage. 
  • A comprehensive benefit package, including three week of paid vacation.
