Love What You Do.
At Room & Board, our Java Web Developers find their work rewarding in the following ways. Is this something you’d love, too?
We’re using the latest in technology. If you’ve jumped to the assumption our technology is old and antiquated because we’re a brick and mortar retailer, you’ll be surprised to learn our technology stack is current. We’re doing a lot of fun and exciting things and we’re motivated to pursue new technologies.
The code is complex. Our product assortment is vast, diverse and often custom, so there’s a lot of depth and complexity in our business requirements and domain. We’re given the room to solve in a creative way and do the best work we can.
Quality is in everything we do. We don’t believe in applying Band-Aids to meet a deadline. Instead we build deadlines based on what it’ll take to do things right. And, we’ll refactor old code to make it better.
We’re a peer group of developers who drive technology. We’re not rigid and restricted by hierarchy, rather fairly flat and work together with the technical freedom to determine what makes the best sense.
- Workspace that inspires. Our creativity is further fueled by our beautiful work environment - filled with natural light and vegetation, well-designed work spaces, an indoor gym, fitness studio and workout facility.
