    Outlet – Full Time Associate
  • Overview

    As a Warehouse Associate in our Outlet at Room & Board, you will be part of a 5-person team responsible for accepting weekly semi- trailer loads of furniture and other home furnishings and preparing our 25,000 sq. ft. Outlet for our customers to visit and shop over the weekend.



    You will enjoy wonderful benefits (medical, dental, paid time off, 401(k) & more, including great perks!) and a reliable full-time schedule working Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays (7:30am-4:00pm), Saturdays (8:30am-5pm) and Sundays (10:00am-5:00pm, paid for 8 hours).


    Location: 4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley.


    Additionally, you’ll be responsible for:

    • Receiving Product for the Outlet: Safely and effectively offloading 3 to 4 semi-trailer loads of product with care utilizing proper equipment to minimize damage and injuries. You’ll obtain forklift certification (provided by us) and maintain safe usage of equipment used within the warehouse.
    • Staging Product in the Outlet: Safely and carefully relocate and stage product throughout the Outlet showroom. Finalizing merchandising and preparing the Outlet showroom for retail sales on Saturday (completing product/furniture details, tagging product, general cleaning and organization). Working on a variety of projects to support the Outlet operations.
    • Supporting Smooth Operations of the Outlet on Saturdays & Sundays: In partnership with a co-leader, you will open and close the facility, interact with customers and provide work direction and oversight of 10 part-time product loaders including training and development.

    The qualifications you’ll bring:

    • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment requiring physical stamina.
    • Prior experience providing work direction to a team preferably within a retail or warehouse environment.
    • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to achieve successful completion of a pre-employment physical.
