You’ll share your passion and talents with us in the following ways:
Be a first point of contact for questions related to accounts receivable, billing and collections. Our locations independently review accounts receivable each month. This role will serve as a trainer on reports and systems related to accounts receivable. Customers will include primarily staff members from our store and delivery center locations but will also include our external customers. This includes conducting research based on limited information and with no two questions being the same.
Be a first point of contact for questions related to accounts payable from vendors which include external vendors as well as internal partners. This includes conducting research based on limited information and with no two questions being the same.
Work in partnership with team members to successfully complete all aspects of the accounts receivable and payable functions (e.g., review accounts receivable on monthly basis; complete daily reconciliation of banking activity, credit cards, financing programs, and gift cards; input and route all vendor invoices for approval; process staff member expense reports; set up new vendors; process weekly check run and electronic funds-transfer; respond to inquiries regarding system billing documents, customer statements, and collections; process 1099’s annually; etc.)
Work with the accounting team to complete month end/year end close processes timely and accurately.
Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
As an experienced Accounts A/R and A/P professional, you'll bring the following qualifications & experience:
4+ years practical accounts receivable/accounts payable experience
Strong working knowledge with enterprise-level accounting software (e.g. SAP or similar system)
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; confidence in interacting with external and internal partners in a knowledgeable and helpful manner
Working knowledge of AP routing and approval systems
Detail oriented, with strong analytic and problem-solving skills
A self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel)
