Our staff members take great pride in the presentation throughout the showroom and work closely with our Cleaning Associates to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and welcoming for everyone.

As a full-time Cleaning Associate with Room & Board, you’re not just a “cleaning” person. You’re a confident professional with a cheerful disposition and a genuine appreciation for a presentable environment. You’ll take great pride in cleaning and maintaining our 4-story, 36,000 sq. ft. showroom:
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and operating industrial janitorial machinery,
- Maintaining organization and inventory levels of cleaning supplies,
- Gathering and emptying trash and recycling/composting bins,
- Emptying dishwashers,
- Light maintenance including general repairs, as needed.

- You are self-directed and have a high set of standards that show in every aspect of your work.
- From cleaning fingerprints to pawprints (we love our furry visitors, too!), you have a keen eye for detail. For you, it’s the little things that make a big difference and you aren’t afraid to take the initiative.
- You’re collaborative and work as a part of a team to ensure our beautiful showroom interiors and exteriors are maintained at the highest level.
- You're a "people person" and love to welcome and engage all who walk through the door.

As a successful Cleaning Associate candidate, you’ll bring the following qualifications and qualities:
- Ideally, you’ll bring some cleaning experience and will also have light maintenance experience. However, we are open to considering other backgrounds and experiences.
- You have excellent communication skills, enjoy working at a steady pace and are recognized for interacting and collaborating within a diverse environment.
- The physical nature of this role requires that you have the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and the physical capacity to walk/move fairly continuously during an eight-hour shift with normal breaks, and
- Pass a pre-employment physical.
What you’ll find as Cleaning Associate:
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 ($24.04 - $26.44 / hour) depending on experience.
