As a Senior Server Systems Engineer, you'll report directly to our Director of Technology Services and join a 15± person team comprised of skilled desktop engineers, support technicians, systems engineers, network engineers, project managers, and interns. As one of the guardians of our data's availability and security, you'll ensure that our systems are not just functional, but optimized to support our business goals and mission. You will be at the forefront of designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining our critical server and storage systems. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our infrastructure, working hand in hand with our collaborative team to assess needs and implement innovative solutions.

Work Location:

4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN (off Hwy 100 & 55)

This role works 2 days in the office with 3 days remote per week. On-call requirement. This is not a remote position. 

You’ll share your talents in the following ways as a Senior Server Systems Engineer:

• Designing, implementing, and supporting server and storage infrastructure to align with business requirements.
• Researching and recommending server and storage architecture in collaboration with team members and vendor partners.
• Managing server and storage infrastructure to optimize availability, performance, and security.
• Contributing to roadmap development and life cycle management.
• Developing and maintaining internal processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Staying current on server, storage, and security best practices.
• Providing technical expertise to the broader Information Technology teams, including assisting in incidents and outages.

Additionally, you'll bring the following experience and demonstrated skills as a Senior Server Systems Engineer:

• 5 or more years of solid infrastructure engineering experience that includes servers, storage, Windows, Linux and VMWare
• A strong understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting skills including DNS, IP, subnetting, and DHCP
• Experience managing Active Directory/Entra ID
• Experience with Azure cloud-based computing and concepts
• Exchange online and 365 administration is a plus
• Automation experience with Ansible and shell scripting (bash, PowerShell) is a plus
