At Room & Board, our full-time Design/Retail Sales Associate Keyholder role (5 days a week, including weekends, with 8-hour shifts) offers an array of generous benefits, including health benefits, three weeks of paid vacation, 401(k), profit sharing, and more. As a keyholder, you will be entrusted with opening and closing the store a few days each week, ensuring smooth operations in the absence of leadership. You'll play a key role in supporting staff and supervising daily activities, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. You'll join a team of talented and professional colleagues while being surrounded by beautiful home furnishings that showcase American craftsmanship. As a valued member of our collaborative design team, you will leverage technology, tools, and resources innovatively, creating a rich and engaging experience to help customers craft homes and spaces they love. The pace and traffic volume in our Pasadena showroom can vary throughout the week. During peak times, you'll need to balance supporting multiple customers simultaneously, providing excellent service to each one. When things slow down, we expect you to stay self-motivated, proactively filling your time without needing direction. Whether it’s by clienteling, working on design projects, or finding new ways to grow the business and enhance your skills, you take initiative and stay engaged even during quieter moments.
