We are looking for a current student pursing a Retail Merchandising Degree or Industrial Engineering Degree who is passionate about product design and development, specifically utilizing analytical stills to build and analyze reporting.  You will gain experience in Room & Board’s Product Team and will support the Vendor Management team in quality analytics and reporting.

Hybrid office schedule (3 days in office). No fully remote applicants. 

 

You will share your talents as a Product Quality Intern in the following ways:

  • Collect, analyze, and share out quality results with internal and external partners. Data will come from: Manufacturer Defect reporting, Returns reporting, Repair notes, RTVs and product reviews.
  • Investigate and document issues reported to quality assurance.
  • Participate in the definition and documentation of process improvements.
  • Provide feedback for product improvement opportunities.

You will bring the following experiences & qualifications as a Product Quality Intern:

  • Preferably a Junior-or Senior-level student currently pursuing a degree in Retail Merchandising or Industrial Engineering.
  • Analytical abilities with great interpersonal and communication skills; Comfortable presenting ideas in front of a group.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects under the guidance and direction of a product development team.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.

  • Salary: $20.00 / hr.
  • Hours: 32-40 hours/week; specific hours will vary based on your availability (hybrid environment)
