Overview

As a General Ledger (GL) / Staff Accountant at Room and Board, you'll go beyond the traditional monthly close to make a meaningful impact across the organization. You'll be part of a collaborative accounting and finance team that values curiosity, initiative, and relationship-building. In this role, you'll support the distribution function of the business by analyzing freight and shipping costs, leases, property taxes, and other occupancy expenses. You will own balance sheet forecasting and actuals, monthly accruals, and P&L forecasting for distribution and occupancy activities. You'll also conduct cost analysis to help drive informed decision making. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who's eager to stretch beyond core accounting tasks, connect with cross-functional teams - from distribution to facilities - and contribute to the business in a dynamic, hands-on way.
