As a trusted partner to our business customers and a key collaborator with internal teams, the Project Coordinator plays an essential role in delivering a seamless, service‑focused experience that reflects Room & Board’s values of respect, collaboration, and authenticity. Working closely with Regional Business Development Managers, retail teams, delivery partners, and internal departments, the Room & Board for Business Project Coordinator manages the full lifecycle of business customer projects—from initial product recommendations through order management and delivery logistics. This role contributes to a positive, efficient, and confidence‑building experience for our business customers while supporting the growth of Room & Board’s B2B channel.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 

Please note: This role is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We are not considering applications from remote candidates.

 

You will share your talents as a Project Coordinator in the following ways:

  • Confidently provide effective solutions and personalized services for business customers through consistent communication and product presentations leveraging Room & Board’s product assortment.

  • Pro-actively manage and coordinate various elements involved with successful business customer interaction, from initial product recommendations, to setting up payment terms, through order management and delivery logistics.

  • Collaborate with our retail teams and Regional Business Development Managers to facilitate a seamless omni‑channel experience for our business customers.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to inform both internal and external partners regarding the business customer experience.

  • Partner with delivery teams to identify tailored solutions and options for business customers.

  • Identify and communicate business customer trends to inform product development needs and solutions.

  • Inform tools and education necessary to support the retail team’s interactions with business customers.

  • Work directly with our Finance team to assist in account creation, tax exemption, modifications of terms, payment processing, and approval for payment terms with our business customers.

  • Confidently leverage technology and tools to manage scope of work and identify opportunities, including SAP, CRM, Floor Planner, and Microsoft Office Suite.

You will bring the following experiences & qualifications as a Project Coordinator:

  • Demonstrated alignment with our Staff Member Attributes: Inclusive, Authentic, Work Ethic, Collaborative, and Curious.

  • 3+ years of B2B experience.

  • Previous sales or account management experience preferred.

  • Experience with design—interior, architecture, space/floor planning—preferred.

  • Passion for design and the Room & Board brand.

  • Agility, confidence, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Individual accountability and an engaged, curious approach to learning.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask confidently in a fast‑paced environment.

  • High proficiency and comfort with technology.

  • Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.
